Crib Carnage

So Elie doesn't really nap anymore, she just pretends to and meanwhile tears apart the whole crib. I went in today to find her asleep (albiet for like 5 mins) on top of her mobile that she tore down. She is supposed to be napping right now and I can hear her in there banging around. Jimmy and I have decided she is part shark because she seems to think she must keep moving in order to survive.

Cute Pics!

This little rocker was my Dad's from when he was a baby.
Happy as a clam!

Now Elie can really play with her car. She had lost interest in it for awhile and now its like a whole new world!

BOOKCLUB!

I have been killing the books lately. Some people may not believe this but I don't have the TV on all day anymore and instead I read, I love it! Another quick read, another good book. I am finally on to Eat, Pray, Love. I'll let you know I have any life changing epiphanies!

"These are a few of may favorite things"

"Chewing on coasters"
"And clapping my hands"
"Flipping through books"
"And reading with Jane, I simply remember my favorite things and then I don't feel so bad."

Supper Solutions

So my Mom is having her hip replaced on Monday, and one of her friends put together a day of cooking at Supper Solutions for my Mom and Dad to have lots of meals. Elie and I made hamburgers, fish, and pasta all ready to be frozen, rethawed and eaten. We made a couple of meals for Jimmy and I too.

Elie thought my Mom looked silly in her chef's hat.

BOOKCLUB!

More like the "Book Without End". I obviously liked this book somewhat cause I couldn't put it down, but it drawled on for awhile. It probably could have ended at around 800 pages instead of 1013. I would recommend it if you didn't just read the prequel, Pillars of the Earth. I read them back-to-back and they were pretty similar.
I got Elie this little pool for the backyard. It would have been great but the water was pretty cold. I even filled it up in the morning hoping it would heat up, maybe on a warmer day...
Afterwards, Elie soaked some rays, Hollywood style!

These pictures are stolen off of Beth's blog...luckily she does not copyright them. We went to City Park today to watch Jon race and keep Bethie company. You can see Jon at the starting line, he is the one with the big white arrow pointing to him that says, "Jon". His team did really well at the race.
One of Elie's favrite toys...water bottles. Jimmy claims the guard fell off the clippers when he was cutting his hair and is now by choice, totally bald.
