Elie's New Tricks!

I have not caught most of this on camera, so I'll just write what she has been up to and try to catch it on camera...
1) I have said before I think she is going to skip crawling, and I may have been right. She is pulling up on everything, and cruising a little. When she gets on her hands and knees she straightens her legs out and tries to stand, I call it her downward dog!
2) She can get herself into a seated position from lying down, so when you go to get her out of her crib she is usually sitting if not standing. She also thinks she should stand up instead of going to bed most evenings.
3) She has no teeth yet
4) She mimicks clapping hands and plays patty-cake
5) And is still the happiest, cutest, wildest thing on the planet! The picture above is her trying to throw herself out of her tub!

Caught on Camera!

Here is Elie standing in her crib! She can pull herself up from a sitting position, lucky this is the only place she has figured out how to do this, but as you can see is very proud of herself. I still think she's going to walk before she crawls.

Battle of the Bulge

We got a jogging stoller this weekend, and I have already run twice, although I won't say for how long it is pretty sad :( But this fat doesn't stand a chance now....10 lbs to go!

" This picture is for my Dad...Mom was getting him back for putting me on the Dodger's cheerleading outfit!"

Play Group at Elie's House

"The Friday Crew" (meaning the mom's that don't work) came over to our house on Friday. The babies played rooly-pollies and bee-bop band.James and Elie! Before Jimmy left for work he stated that James was NOT allowed in ELie's room.
Elie with the Bee-Bop band drum, Baby Jayne is in the backround playing the bells!

Dad's Favorite Time of Year!

So baseball season has offically begun. Elie was alone with her father on Sunday and I came home and she was dressed in this spectacular outfit. I also have to say that this child never stops moving and although I get some cute pictures of her this is more what they look like because she is a wild child.
I am not sure if she is fussing in this picture because she is tired or because she is really a Rockies fan.

Play Group!

This was at our play group last week. Elie sported her awesome onesie from her Aunt Nan and was very excited aboiut it too.
"So anyway like I was saying the coffee at the windy saddle was excellent!" - Elie
I don't know who Baby Elie is talking to, but that is Baby Olivia on the right and Baby Brynleigh on the left.

8 Months Young Today!!!

8 months ago today I was...well I'll spare you the gory details, but I had a baby! Today, however was much more pleasent. We saw some friends, had lunch, hung out with grandma and partied all night long (until 8pm anyway, which is pretty late) My friend DeAnn opened a cafe in Golden and I met Beth there for lunch. The Windy Saddle Cafe is superb, cool ambience and great food. I would expect nothing less from DeAnn.
Elie really wanted Beth's Grande Americana so beth distracted her with a toy.
At the old age of 8 months Elie still can't have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, so I gave her some cereal, which she shoves in her mouth with her entire fist.

BOOKCLUB!
