We have stepped this slide thing up a whole new level,

As most of you know Elie has been sick for the first time. She is feeling a little better, good enough to help me put the groceries away at least...

And put old ones back in the bags! Thanks Elles!

I think we officially played dress up today. Elie is learning to dress herself. She has the right idea but not all the moves. She has been wearing my vest around all morning, I think it's like a baby down sleeping bag with arm and feet holes.

Elie working very hard at putting her shirt on her legs...all this dress up leads to serious static hair.

All that work and she finally got one leg in each pant leg, as opposed to both in one, but hasn't managed to pull them up passed her knees.

I was crying I was laughing so hard at this...she tried so dang hard to get that shirt on over her head and was very proud of herself. She walked around like this for at least 5 minutes=good ab workout for me, 5 minutes of laughter.

First Haircut!

On Friday the three of us went out for dinner at Red Robin! Elie really likes there mac & Cheese, and she LOVES the balloons. She swings it back and forth really fast hitting herself in the face, screams and then laughs hysterically.

Dance Party!

We had a little dance party tonight, Elie practiced her twirls. Turn it up you can hear Chris Brown in the background...Uncle Vinnie will be so proud!

(She obliviously doesn't get her moves from her dad).

Jimmy's Birthday!

Jimmy turned 32 yesterday and Elie helped blow out the candles and open the birthday cards. She also apparently enjoys cream cheese frosting as she swipes her finger through the icing!

You can see the evidence of Elie's finger at the top of the cake...good girl, she's learning young!

One of Elie's favorite things to do is read. Among her favorites that you have to read or sing a few times a day are, Frosty the Snowman, Moo Baa LaLaLa, Goodnight Gorilla, The Little Mermaid and The Belly Button Book.

Apparently Elie thinks the toy basket should not only hold her toys, but it means she should play in it as well.

Here's the slide that Colorado Santa brought Elie, I think yesterday alone she went down it 1001 times.

There seems to be a theme forming here when I get to sleep in on the weekends I always wake up to forts. Here Jimmy built the fort so Elie can slide right into it...now that is awesome!

Nan's Baby Shower

My Mom and I threw Nancy a baby shower on Saturday. I didn't get very many pictures, but two of my oldest friends were there with their new babies. Whitney and McKinley and Lyssa and Neva. It was fun to finally get all 6 of us together.

I finally got a chance to blog some pictures. Here is ELie with some of her presents. The girl made out...she got some good stuff. Her she is with two of her favs, Elmo and the stroller.

She got her very own tent, equipped with tunnels and everything, it's like her very own hamster cage.

This was her first look at all her presenets on Christmas morning. She went straight for this puppy. She got some great presents from the Colorado Santa before going to see the California Santa. I'll get some pics with those toys soon!
